   中国科学院院士 卓仁禧教授

卓任禧,高分子化学家,教授,博士生导师,中国科学院院士。
1931年2月出生于福建厦门。1953年7月复旦大学毕业后,到武汉大学化学系任教。1957-1959年去天津南开大学进修,在前苏联专家指导下进行有机硅化学研究。1983-1984年在美国耶鲁大学从事生物活性化合物研究。现任武汉大学教育部生物医学高分子材料开放实验室主任。兼任教育部科技委员会委员,中国生物材料委员会副主席,国家自然科学基金委员会学科评审组成员等职务。还担任《离子交换与吸附》和《Chinese Journal of Reactive Polymers》副主编。《Polymer International》执行编辑。《高等学校化学学报》,《高分子学报》等杂志编委。

卓仁禧教授在有机硅化学和生物医学高分子等方面的研究中,取得了重要成果。70年代,研制成功长链烷基三烷氧基硅烷作为光学玻璃防雾剂,应用于多种光学玻璃器件作为保护涂层。80年代以来,开展生物医学高分子材料研究,深入系统地研究了生物可降解聚磷酸酯、聚酯、聚碳酸酯、聚氨基酸、聚乳酸和聚酸酐等的分子设计、合成方法及表征.同时研究上述高分子材料对抗癌药物、避孕药物和蛋白质的控制释放性能。还开展了高分子材料作为基因转移载体的研究.在聚磷酸酯合成方法的研究中,发现4-N,N-二甲基吡啶(DMAP)能够催化聚磷酸酯的溶液缩聚反应;在聚磷酸酯的生物活性研究方面,发现含酪氨酸二肽的聚磷酸酯疫苗佐剂,显示出与弗氏完全佐剂(FCA)相当的免疫效果.近年来,还进行了肝靶向性磁共振成像造影剂的研究,制得以聚赖氨酸和聚天冬氨酸为载体,侧链含钆配合物和对肝有靶向作用的D-半乳糖的大分子造影剂.动物体内分布实验结果表明:这类磁共振成像造影剂毒性低,对肝脏有较好的靶向性。

发表论文200余篇。获1978年全国科学大会奖2项,1983年国家科技发明奖三等奖1项,1991年国家自然科学奖四等奖1项和国家教委科技进步奖一等奖1项。1986年被批准为国家级有突出贡献的中青年科技专家。1995年被国务院授予全国先进工作者称号。

Zhuo Renxi

Prof. Zhuo Ren-Xi was born in February 1931 in Xiamen, Fujian, graduated from Fudan University in 1953, majoring in Chemistry. Since then, he has been working as a faculty member at the Chemistry Department of Wuhan University. He has held the position of Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor in 1953, 1960,1978 and 1982 respectively. From 1983 to 1984 he joined Prof. W.H. Prusoff’s research group at the Department of Pharmacology, Yale University, U.S.A. as a visiting scholar. Now he is a professor at the Department of Chemistry, Director of the key Laboratory of Biomedical Polymers of the Ministry of Education, Wuhan University. He is also a Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Committee for Biomaterials (CCBM).

His main research achievements are in the fields of Biomedical Polymer and Organosilicon Chemistry. In early 1970s, he synthesized and developed a new type of organosilicon compound as antifogging agent for the treatment of optical glass. The coating formed on the glass surface after treatment could protect the optical glass from fogging and keep it transparent and bright for a long time. This organosilicon antifogging agent has been used for the treatment of different kinds of optical glass. From early 1980s up to the present time, he has systematically studied the molecular design, synthetic method, characterization, property and biomedical application (e.g., drug controlled release) of biodegradable polymers, including polyphosphate, polycarbonate, polyester, polyanhydride, poly(lactic acid), poly(amino acid) and copolymers thereof. Recently, he has also studied synthetic polymer vectors for gene transfection. Up to now, Prof. Zhuo has published more than 200 academic papers. Because of the outstanding contributions, Prof. Zhuo was awarded both the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress (1991) by the State Education Committee and the Fourth Prize for National Natural Science (1991). He also received a Third State Invention Prize for Science and Technology (1983) and two National Science Congress Prizes (1978)

He was elected a CAS member in 1997.
